Located in Lombardy, northern Italy, Cremona is a fairly nice place mainly known for being the hometown of Antonio Stradivari, violin maker. In fact there is in town plenty of people interested in violins and classic music that comes over to learn or train their violins skills… or to buy their own custom violin made by renowned artisans which have plenty of workshops in town.
Beside of that Cremona is also the hometown of two famous Italian artists like Ugo Tognazzi (1922-1990, actor and director) and Mina (1940, singer).
I’ve been here for some months due to business but I couldn’t visit the place as I wanted to. Cremona is indeed a beautiful place full of history and culture so I suggest you to take a tour if you pass by.
